GDPR

This is the short version of how we handle personal data under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation. The full account of what we collect, why, who receives it and how it is protected is in our Privacy Policy, and the two pages say the same thing.

Who is responsible

AssignmentMasters.net is operated by PVexperts, which is the controller of the personal data collected through the site. PVexperts decides why and how your data is used and answers for it. You can reach us at support@assignmentmasters.net.

Why we are allowed to use your data

Every use rests on one of four legal bases.

  • Contract, for your account, your orders, support and the service emails about them.
  • Legitimate interests, for preventing fraud, keeping the site and payments secure, measuring and improving the site, and answering people who have not ordered yet.
  • Legal obligation, for payment and accounting records and for lawful requests from authorities.
  • Consent or legitimate interest, for promotional emails, each of which carries an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you and have it corrected, deleted or handed to you in a portable format. You can ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to a use, including direct marketing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what was done before.

Using your rights

Write to support@assignmentmasters.net from the email address on your account and say what you would like us to do. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that nobody else can get at your data. We answer within one month. Once a deletion request is verified we complete it within 14 days, except for records the law requires us to keep.

How long we keep data

Account and order records are kept while your account is in use, then only as long as disputes, accounting and the law require, and never longer than 10 years after your last use.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your data wrongly, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You can also complain to a data protection authority at any time, usually the one in the country where you live or work.

Security is covered in the Privacy Policy, and the rules for orders and payments are in the Terms and Conditions.
