Privacy Policy

AssignmentMasters.net is operated by PVexperts (“the Company”, “we”, “us”). PVexperts is the controller of the personal data collected through the site, which means we decide why and how it is used and we answer for it. This policy follows your data the way our Terms and Conditions follow an order, one step at a time, from your first visit to the day a record is deleted. Questions and requests go to support@assignmentmasters.net.

When you visit the site

Every visit leaves some technical data with us. That means your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you open and the page that sent you here. Our servers need most of it to deliver pages and keep the site secure. The rest shows us which pages help visitors and which do not.

We also keep our own record of how visitors use the order form, such as the step they reached or the prices they were quoted. It is linked to the visitor identifier described below, and to your account once you sign in or order.

For this measurement we rely on our legitimate interest in running a site that works.

Cookies and browser storage

A cookie is a small text file that your browser keeps for a website. This site sets the four below, all of them its own. It runs no third-party analytics or advertising tags.

  • es_sid keeps you signed in to your account and the order form. The site cannot take orders without it, and it expires after 30 days without a visit.
  • es_aid is a random identifier for your browser. It connects a visit to the order that follows it, which is how we learn which pages and campaigns lead to orders. It lasts up to 400 days.
  • es_first and es_last remember how you first found the site and how you arrived most recently, for example through a campaign link or another website. They last up to 400 days and 30 days.

The first time you visit, a short notice at the top of the page says that the site uses cookies. Choosing OK hides it, and your browser’s local storage remembers that so it does not come back. Local storage also keeps the currency you picked in the order form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking es_sid stops you from signing in, while blocking the others does not affect ordering.

The WhatsApp button on our pages is an ordinary link. Nothing from WhatsApp loads unless you click it.

When you create an account or place an order

To open an account you give us your email address and a password. The order form also asks for your name, a phone number and your country, and you may add your time zone.

An order brings its own data. It holds the instructions you write, the files you upload, your messages with support and the writer, your order history, and any rating or feedback you leave. We use all of this to run your account and complete your orders, which is the contract between us.

If you type your email address into the order form and leave without ordering, we keep that address for up to 45 days. We rely on our legitimate interest here, and you can object at any time.

What your writer sees

A writer sees the instructions and files of the order they work on. They never see your name, email address, phone number or payment details. Keep personal details out of your instructions and files, because whatever you put there reaches the writer.

Children

The service is not directed at anyone under 16. If we learn that data we hold belongs to a child, we delete it.

When you pay

Card payments go through third-party payment processors. We never receive or store your full card number. What reaches us is the status of the payment and a few limited details, such as the last digits of the card, the country that issued it and the fraud signals the processor sends. A payment may be taken on a payment page run by the Company on another website, as the Terms explain.

If we ask you to verify a payment, for example with a screenshot of the charge in your online banking, we use that material only for the check and delete it afterwards.

Here we rely on our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and keeping payments secure, and on our legal obligation to keep payment and accounting records.

When we are in touch

Messages in your account, emails and WhatsApp messages you send us are kept with your order, so support and the writer can see the history. A WhatsApp message reaches us through WhatsApp and the messaging provider that runs our inbox, together with your number and profile name.

We send service emails about your orders, and we may contact you about an order by phone or through messaging apps if you gave us those contacts. These messages are part of the contract. So is support, and where you have not ordered yet we answer on the basis of our legitimate interest in helping you.

Promotional emails about offers and new services go out with your consent or on the basis of our legitimate interest in telling customers about similar services. Every one of them carries an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time through that link or by writing to support.

Who else handles your data

We share personal data only with those who need it to do their part.

  • Payment processors and banks, to take and check payments.
  • Hosting and IT providers that run our servers and systems.
  • Email delivery providers that send our messages.
  • The customer messaging provider behind our WhatsApp inbox.
  • Professional advisers, and authorities or courts when the law requires it or when they make a lawful request.
  • Other websites and services operated by the Company, where they take payments or service your orders and account.

We do not sell personal data.

Transfers outside your country

Some of these providers process data outside your country and outside the European Economic Area. When they do, the transfer relies on safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Account and order records stay while your account is in use. Afterwards we keep them only as long as we need them for disputes, accounting and our legal obligations, and never longer than 10 years after your last use of the account. Our own records of site visits and order form use are kept for 13 months. An email address typed into the order form without an order is kept for up to 45 days. Verification material is deleted once the check is done, and marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Once we have verified a request to delete your data, we complete it within 14 days, except for records the law requires us to keep.

How we protect it

Every page of the site is served over HTTPS. Access to customer data is limited to the staff who need it, and card data stays with the payment processors. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your password private and tell support at once if you suspect someone has used your account.

Your rights

If the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to do the following.

  • See the data we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Have it corrected if it is wrong.
  • Have it deleted.
  • Restrict how we use it.
  • Receive it in a portable format.
  • Object to how we use it, including for direct marketing.
  • Withdraw any consent you gave, at any time.

Write to support@assignmentmasters.net from the email address on your account. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we answer within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority, usually the one in the country where you live or work. The GDPR page sums these points up in brief.

If you live in California

We do not sell personal information. California residents can ask what personal information we hold about them and ask us to delete it. Write to support with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line.

Changes to this policy
